For all you fans of the exciting and vibrating Salsa music, you are in for a treat this year. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Congresos de la Salsa - Congress of Salsa. If you enjoy dancing until dawn this event is for you. This year the event will have the Dream Team of Salsa performers: -El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico -La Sonora Poncea -Willie Rosario and his Orchestra -Andy Montaz and his Orchestra These are just some of the few confirmed legends. This event will also feature a global dancing competition. Participants are expected from numerous countries: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, United States, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Italy, Holland, England, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, Aruba, Curacao, Martinique, Guadalupe, St. Martin, Trinidad & Tobago. This event will be held in the summer, July 23 29, 2006. The venue will be none other than the El San Juan-Hotel and Casino, one of the marquee properties in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. This property offers an excellent location close to the International Airport while only steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches (i.e., Isla Verde Beach) on the Island.
