Do you have any problems in your life? Have you ever had a problem and gave it to the lord, then took it back? It can be hard to let go and let him take care of you sometimes. PSALMS 55:22 -- Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Young or Old, we all have problems in one or more of these areas: - Money / Bills
- Food / Shelter
- Health
- Family / Relationships
- Children
- Drug / Alcohol abuse
- Peer pressure at work / school
- Gangs / Violence
"God has the Power" to get me out of any situation, problem or circumstance I find myself in and bless me if I let him. Give your burdens to him, leave them there and do good with your life or you won't get the blessings. You'll get all of your problems back. Lets consider an example in the bible. King Hezekiah was very sick and faced death. He prayed to GOD for a blessing then straightened his life out. We should follow the same example today and
1) Give your burdens to him
2) Leave them there
3) Do good with your life
4) Receive the blessings
Duet 11:26-28 --"Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known. ISAIAH 38:1-8 -- In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.' " Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, and said, "Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city." ' And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken: Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward." Deep Cut on your hand ----- big problem
Smalll Cut on your hand --- small problem Either way they are both problems and you will need to: 1) Clean the wound!!
2) Apply Medicine (Read instructions carefully)
3) Patch it up with a band aid
4) Leave it alone, let it heal (don't pick at it)
Leave it Alone!!!If you pick at it (i.e., worry, anxiety), and don't leave it alone it will continue to be a problem and it might get worse. You wont be able to resume your daily activities or be of help to anybody else. Everybody has problems --- some little, some large With Spiritual problems ---- follow these same steps: - Clean the wound -- clean with prayer and fasting -- if its because your doing something wrong stop doing it, need strength, ask for it; need wisdom, as for it, then take the steps necessary to get what you ask for.

- Patch it up -- more prayer -- thanking God for taking this burden from you.
- Leave it alone!!!
"God has the Power" to get me out of any situation, problem or circumstance I find myself in and bless me if I let him. We are promised help from the Lord, he will make us strong and he understands. Whatever situation we are in he understands. Whatever mistakes we make, but don't forget that the Lord does spank us when we are wrong. We may suffer a little, but he loves us enough to forgive us if we repent. We may get depressed, or worry, but if we throw our burdens on him and leave them there, we will become strong again and be able to help someone else who needs a boost. ISAIAH 40:28-31-- Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Why is it so important to leave your problems alone? ISAIAH 58:6-9 -- "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.' "If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness. If you do you'll be able to take care of the business at hand: - Watching over your families
- Studying the bible
- Teaching others how to depend on the Lord
- Helping our brothers and sisters in need
So many people need the Lord, so we can't be bogged down in our own problems. Give your burdens to the Lord. And leave it alone. Then we will have all the free time we need to enjoy life, our family, friends and do the Lord's work of telling others about his great and wonderful acts. If the Lord told you something would you listen and do what he said? |
