Are you an Internet Surfer and you click around the Internet is search of knowledge and news occasionally. Do you ever find it odd that much of the news is the same? For instance if you go to Google News or MSN.com pretty much the same; Yahoo too? Have you ever noticed that you can go to an industry website and then click on Industry Associations, companies, even read white papers and really there is nothing new or very innovative. Do you know why this is? Well there are a couple of reasons, but one is that things change slowly and that is because often humans fear change and even make laws to prevent change. In fact in some Industries they wait so long to change that they finally crumble under their own weight as each company is competing using the exact same methods only there are ten times as many company over a ten year period but not ten times as many customers who are buying those products or services. Do you ever find yourself saying; Tell me something I dont know? sure you do, we all do. And if you think you will find something new on the Internet is a particular industry or field you have to really start looking hard after you are up on everything. Do you know something that no one else knows? Do you? Well what is it. Tell me something I dont know. I am waiting. Think on this in 2006. |
